Abstract

The article reveals the problems of aesthetic functioning and the value of poetic style. The concept of «discourse» is put in concrete terms; it is represented as the complex process of communication through art, where the work is the link connecting the aesthetic activity of the author (producer) and the interpreter (recipient). The meanings of interpreter enrich and supplement the semantic space of art fiction.
