Актанты ситуации с ольфакторными глаголами инертного типа (на материале английского, латышского, немецкого, русского и украинского языков)

Abstract

The present article focuses on semantic and morpho-syntactic peculiarities of the olfactory verbs in English, German, Latvian, Russian and Ukrainian. The semantic and syntactic actants of the olfactory verbs have been studied, constructions revealing the semantic and syntactic levels of the olfactory situation have been proposed. Analyses of constructions in five languages as well as thematic classification of perception objects have been conducted.
