Глагольно-именное словосочетание attract attention как прототип подфрейма «непроизвольное внимание»

Abstract

The article deals with the peculiarities of conceptualization of attention. Frame «Attention» is modelled after the analysis of word definitions and extralinguistic data; specific features of subframe «Involuntary Attention» are worked out. The prototypical verbal lexeme «attract (sb’s) attention» is analyzed in accordance with its ability to reflect specific features and components of subframe «Involuntary Attention». Semantic characteristics of studied lexeme are specified.
