Abbas H.J. Sultan, An Account of Light Verb Constructions in Shabaki. – Acta Linguistica, Vol. 5, No. 2 (2011), pp. 36-56.
Summary: Light verb constructions (also known as complex predicates or compound verbs) are multiword expressions that combine light verbs with preverbal elements, such as nouns, adjectives, prepositions, adverbial words or phrases. This paper is an attempt to describe light verb constructions in the Indo-European language Shabaki and to scrutinize their morpho-syntactic features.
